This “magic trick” is actually a mathematical game.
Amaze your opponent by guessing a number they think they have chosen in secret!
The rules:
- Ask your opponent to secretly select a number from 1 of the 7 wooden boards.
- Show your opponent the boards one a time and ask if their number is on the board.
- Show all the boards, as their number will appear on more than one board.
- Take away the boards that do not contain your opponent’s secret number.
- Add up the numbers in the top left corners of the remaining boards.
The result will be your opponent’s secret number.
